Quinton and Lakhisa met 13 years ago in the summer time at the R bus stop in Philadelphia around the corner from his grandmother (Ms. Mary's) house. At that time we would have never thought we would make it this far. Que became my high school sweetheart we even went on my prom together. After dating for 4 years Que and I decided to break up to give each other time to live separate lives and also to make sure that the love we shared was meant to be. Throughout those years we never stopped loving one another. He has always been there for me for the better and the worse and I did the same. Even through other relationships when they walked away we were still there for each other. This is something that was meant to be from the beginning and will never end and now our families will unite as one as we become husband and wife.
We have chosen to hold the wedding in Alabama because that is where Quinton is from. The ceremony will be held at his mother’s house. We have chosen to make this a big family event something that everyone would enjoy.
The reception will be at the falls. This is one of the most beautiful places in Alabama to me.
